Single Malt Whisky is considered the pinnacle of Scottish distilling craftsmanship. It is made exclusively from malted barley, water, and yeast – in a single distillery. Each bottle carries the unmistakable signature of its origin, from the purity of the water to the shape of the stills.

How Single Malt Whisky is made

The foundation is malted barley, often dried over peat smoke, giving the whisky its distinctive smoky tone. After double distillation, the spirit is aged in oak casks for at least three years – though the finest expressions mature for decades. Each cask shapes the flavour differently: ex-bourbon barrels bring notes of vanilla, while sherry casks add dried fruits and nuts.
