An artisanal dry gin created with a passion for the Italian port town of Portofino, its beauty and charming history.

The company was founded in honour of Klaus Pudel, the grandfather of Portofino Dry Gin's co-founder Rugger. Klaus was a great man admired for saving the town from destruction during World War II.

It's made in an ancient distillery, a short walk from the company's headquarters. Each batch of this gin is produced using a combination of traditional and innovative methods: in a historic
Italian Copper Colum Still, which was used to distil liqueur and grappa, with state-of-the-art vacuum distillation technology, which preserves the aromas from the finest herbs.

Interestingly, the company strives to produce and export its products in the most environmentally friendly way possible. The shipping boxes are made from either recycled paper or FSC-certified paper. The filling materials are made from 100% recycled paper or natural corn starch, which is fully biodegradable and compostable.
