Spirits are generally beverages with an alcohol content of at least 15% and at most 79.5%. The exceptions are beer and wine. The ethanol they contain must be produced by a fermentation process. They are formed in a cold or hot way. In the first case, drinking alcohol is mixed with ingredients. In the second case, spirits are produced by distilling fermented sugar raw materials. Spirits are represented by the Jelínek and Spiš brands, which are very popular in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
