Liqueurs are among the most widespread alcoholic beverages. They contain between 15% and 79.5% alcohol and are made by blending high-quality alcohol with aromatic ingredients, fruit extracts, or herbs.

Unlike distillates, which are produced directly from fermented fruit, liqueurs have a milder and sweeter taste, often with characteristic notes of fruit or spices.

How they are made

Liqueurs are made using the so-called “cold method” – by mixing potable alcohol with ingredients that give them their aroma, color, and flavor.

Typical examples include apricot, plum, pear, or herbal varieties that have found their place at celebrations, in bars, and during family toasts.
