Corn vodka

The process of making corn vodka:
1. Raw material selection:

The corn is first ground to a fine meal and then mixed with water. The mixture is heated to release the starch and convert it into fermentable sugars.
3. Fermentation:

4. Distillation:
The fermented mixture is distilled to obtain pure alcohol. Corn vodka is often distilled several times (typically 3 to 5 times) to achieve maximum fineness and purity.
5. Filtration:
The distillate undergoes a filtration process, often through activated charcoal, to remove any impurities and unwanted flavors. This step is key to achieving a smooth and clear drink.
6. Dilution:
The concentrated alcohol is diluted with pure water to the desired alcohol level, usually between 37,5 % and 40 %.

Taste: Mild, often slightly sweetish, with a smooth finish.
Aroma: Neutral or slightly sweetish.
Use: Suitable for direct sipping, in cocktails or as a base for infusions.
