J&J Ostrožovič is one of the most significant producers of Tokaj wines in Slovakia. The family winery operates in the small village of Vel’ká Tŕňa, in the heart of the Tokaj wine region, where since 1990 it has been building a reputation as a quality producer known for its honest work, respect for nature, and emphasis on the authentic expression of terroir.

Ostrožovič specializes in traditional Tokaj wines, such as samorodné wines, Tokaj selections, ice wines, and botrytized wines, as well as modern varietal white wines and cuvées. The winery cultivates its own vineyards on the tuff substrate typical of the Tokaj region, which imparts exceptional minerality and complex flavor to the grapes.

A significant part of the production is aging in historic tuff Tokaj cellars, which create ideal conditions for the slow maturation of wines. It is here that wines with characteristic notes of dried fruits, honey, nuts, and rare botrytis, which is crucial for Tokaj wines, are created.

J&J Ostrožovič is synonymous with quality, honesty, and traditional Tokaj craftsmanship. The winery regularly receives awards both domestically and internationally and its wines are among the most sought-after Tokajs.
