Matusalem

The Matusalem brand was established in 1872 in the southeast of Cuba in the city of Santiago de Cuba. The name Matusalem was inspired by the biblical character Methuselah, who lived for 969 years.

All rums are produced by the special Solera method and matured in 200-liter ex-bourbon white oak barrels. The barrels are fired before filling to develop tones such as vanilla, dried fruit and caramel. In 2000, the Matusalem brand won a large number of medals and awards for its magnificent rums, making them recognized around the world.

However, Matusalem Gran Reserva 15 rum won the most awards. It was not just ordinary awards, but world-renowned international competitions and exhibitions, thanks to which the American Institute named it the best rum in the world.
