These conditions are ideal for growing sugarcane, from which rum with a character typical of Venezuela is produced – sweet, full-bodied, and subtly spiced.

The brand was established in 1959 and has relied on honest craftsmanship from the beginning. It is exceptional in that it utilizes three different types of distillation, which are combined into unique blends. The base is not molasses, but rather “cane honey” – a thick syrup from sugarcane that gives Diplomático rum its unmistakable smoothness and depth.
