Diplomático

The Diplomático distillery lies at the foot of the Venezuelan Andes, a privileged location for rum production. The area has excellent conditions for sugar cane cultivation and rum production, fertile soil, abundant water and tropical weather.

The distillery was established in 1959 and is unique because it uses three different distillation processes that are combined to produce unique rums. It has also pioneered the introduction of sustainable practices throughout the rum-making process.

Sugar cane is the main raw material for rum production. Diplomático uses only indigenous sugar cane, which is mostly grown within a 100 km radius of the distillery.
