Diplomático Seleccion de Familia is a 12-year-old molasses rum from Venezuela. It matured in American oak barrels after bourbon and in barrels after sherry, thanks to which its taste profile acquired rich tones in both fruit and oak wood.
It is a complex rum with a dry, hot-sweet character accompanied by tones of caramelized bananas, white pepper, ginger, raisins and figs.
