An excellent blend of great Dominican rums, that is Barceló Gran Añejo, rum aged for more than four years in oak barrels.
Ron Barceló Gran Añejo features a rich golden amber color. The wonderful aroma is characterized by citrus and peach notes with a woody undertone.
For a smooth, balanced rounded taste, fruity nuances are distinctive. We also sense notes of chocolate and vanilla, followed by a subtle caramelized nut flavor and a semi-dry body. The finish has hints of nut butter and caramel, which gradually fade away. The soft finish is complemented by creamy echoes.
Julian Barceló was a young entrepreneur from the Dominican Republic with a vision. He wanted to create a unique rum that the Caribbean had never seen before, and in 1930 in Santo Domingo he founded the company Barceló & Co. His plan worked, and the brand quickly established itself, becoming successful and one of the largest and most recognized rum distilleries in the Caribbean.
Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 37.5% with a volume of 0.7 l.
