Barceló

In 1929, Julián Barceló, a 25-year-old Spaniard, came to Santo Domingo to fulfill his dream of making the best rum in the world. There he founded Barceló & Co and began to expand into the world.

Barceló is the only Dominican rum that is made with sugar cane juice. The entire process from fermentation to distillation and maturation takes place in the Dominican Republic. The commitment to perfection, which is transmitted in the liquid, gives all rums from the Barceló workshop a characteristic smoothness and integrity.

The brand's portfolio includes a variety of rums, from younger and lighter varieties to older, aged rums that have matured in oak barrels and have complex flavor profiles. Among the most famous products are Ron Barceló Añejo, Ron Barceló Imperial and Ron Barceló Gran Añejo, which are popular not only among ordinary consumers but also among rum connoisseurs.
