Barceló Imperial Onyx has an unwavering taste. It is a rich blend of rums over 10 years old, aged in ex-bourbon barrels.
The rum is filtered through onyx stones, which give it the mystique that is characteristic of this unique rum.
Amber mahogany in colour with a robust and structured body and great character. We can smell toasted aromas with subtle hints of cherry, coffee and dried fruits, deep notes of wood and vanilla. In the mouth, intense sensations prevail, ending with a long and lingering flavour.
This exclusive rum is interesting because, unlike ordinary rum from the Dominican Republic, it has been distilled from fermented sugar cane juice instead of molasses . The sugar cane comes from the company's own plantations.
A mature and complex rum that delights all the senses. The bottles are filled at 38 % alcohol with a volume of 0,7 l and are supplied in gift cartons.
