Bumbu is an authentic craft rum from Barbados, produced in a historic distillery that has been operating continuously since 1893. The brand draws on original recipes from Caribbean sailors of the 18th century, when rum was blended with herbs, fruits, and spices – creating a drink that refreshed even the boldest adventurers.

Traditional Production and Unmistakable Flavor

The Bumbu distillery uses two continuous distillation columns and yeast that has been passed down from generation to generation since 1840. The distillate matures in bourbon barrels, gaining characteristic notes of caramel, banana, roasted spices, and subtle vanilla.

The uniqueness of Bumbu rum is enhanced by Barbadian water, naturally filtered through layers of limestone – pure, soft, and ideal for distillation. The result is a rum with extraordinary depth, natural sweetness, and perfect balance of flavors, which has gained favor worldwide.
