Bumbu XO is an extra aged dark rum, made from sugarcane molasses in Panama, where it matures under the tropical climate for 18 years to perfection. The aging process takes place in old white bourbon barrels and later continues with final maturation in Andalusian sherry casks.
The result is a mahogany dark, smooth, flavor-rich, and complex rum, very pleasantly balanced, which drinks literally by itself. You will find notes of buttery caramel, charred oak, and vanilla, which go hand in hand with orange, black pepper, and a hint of coffee.
