London Dry Gin is an icon of the gin world and still represents the quality standard against which other styles are compared. Despite its name, this gin does not have to be produced in London – the term "London Dry" refers to the production method, not the origin. It is a style where the addition of artificial flavors, sweeteners, or colorings after distillation is prohibited. Thus, every drop comes exclusively from natural botanicals, giving the gin its exceptionally clean, dry profile.
