The Gordon's company was a pioneer in cocktails when in 1924 it launched the first bottle of Cocktail Shaker in response to the growing trend of cocktail parties, but people were unsure how to prepare them correctly. In the 1960s, the Gordon's brand gained the status of the best-selling gin brand in the world. Gordon's was distributed globally. Their advertising also became more playful and began to create a distinctive TOV.

Gordon's is still a leading, award-winning global gin brand even after 248 years; in 2016 alone, the leading gin received 6 global spirit awards, highlighting its unwavering quality and dedication to this drink. They continue to show that innovation is key to a successful brand, recently launching a new Gordon's Pink based on a recipe from the 1800s and also released a pre-mixed cocktail in cans, Gordon's & Tonic premix.
