Maple Cask is the result of careful aging of the rarest rums in oak barrels that vary in char level. These rums are then blended and this mixture is further aged in maple wood barrels, which imparts a distinctive flavor and aroma to the final rum.
The aroma of this rum is complex and harmonious. You can detect notes of maple syrup, caramel, vanilla, and dried fruit. There is also a subtle woodiness from the maple barrels. The taste reveals delicate notes of honeyed maple syrup, caramel, and a hint of spice. The finish is long and elegant with hints of vanilla and gentle woody tones.
