Ron Barceló Imperial Rare Blends Maple Cask is a rum that is part of the Barceló Rum Rare Blends collection. This unique rum is made from the purest juice sourced from the finest selection of sugarcane from the Dominican Republic.
Maple Cask is the result of careful aging of the rarest rums in oak barrels that vary in char level. These rums are then blended and this mixture is further aged in maple wood barrels, which gives the resulting rum its distinctive flavor and aroma.
The aroma of this rum is complex and harmonious. You can sense notes of maple syrup, caramel, vanilla, and dried fruit. There is also a subtle woodiness from the maple barrels. The taste reveals delicate notes of honeyed maple syrup, caramel and a hint of spice. The finish is long and elegant with hints of vanilla and subtle woody tones. The rum has a balanced sweetness and robust character.
Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 40%, volume is 0.7 l and bottles are delivered in stylish gift boxes.
