Diplomático Ambassador
Diplomático Ambassador is a cane dark golden rum that matures in American white oak barrels, where bourbon had previously matured, for twelve years. For the next two years, Pedro Ximénez matures in Spanish sherry in barrels. Only then does rum have the highest quality and the right taste. In order to preserve the quality of such ripe rum, it is bottled directly from barrels. No caramel or other flavorings are used in the production. The taste of this rum has a hint of nuts, raisins and port.
Diplomático Ambassador is distilled in whole copper plants from "virgin copper" from first-class sugar cane with a content of sixty percent sugar. The annual production of Ambassador is estimated at 1,600 bottles. Each bottle has its own serial number and the bottle stoppers are dipped in gold.
