At Staritsky & Levitsky, we enthusiastically revive the heritage and traditions of authentic small-batch vodka distillation in the historic birthplace of its production. After fascinating tours, numerous tastings, and recipe research in the geographical "vodka belt" of Europe, the company found the ideal location for a craft distillery in the historic Ukrainian city of Lviv, near the Polish border. This site is located close to the protected Carpathians with accessible supplies of crystal-clear water from wells, has access to Ukrainian black soil - the breadbasket of Europe - from which unique grains for distillation are sourced, and has a centuries-old tradition of vodka distillation. The brand's mission is to utilize these local resources and ingredients and employ handcrafted methods to create small batches.
