Portofino Dry Gin is a premium Italian gin from the picturesque coastal town of Portofino, known for its nobility, scent of pine trees, and authentic Mediterranean atmosphere. The gin's recipe is based on traditional Ligurian botanicals that grow along the coast – hand-picked herbs, citrus fruits, and aromatic plants.
The gin combines 21 botanicals, including:
– juniper,
– lemon and orange peel,
– rosemary, lavender, marjoram,
– sage, mint, violet flowers,
– and typical Ligurian herbs from the hills around Portofino.
Distillation takes place in original copper stills that were once used for making medicinal tinctures. The result is a very aromatic, balanced, and smooth gin with an elegant Mediterranean character.
On the nose, it is fresh, botanically pure, and citrusy – lemon peel, juniper, lavender, and herbs.
The taste is smooth, distinctly Mediterranean – juniper, lemon oil, rosemary, sage, mint, subtle spices, with a touch of flowers. The finish is long, refreshing, and slightly spicy, with pronounced clarity and aroma.
The gift packaging gives the product a luxurious appearance – perfect for gifting or as a premium addition to your collection of dry gins.
