Nordés Atlantic Galician Gin

Nordés is a gin inspired by the northern Atlantic wind (in Spain “Nordés”) and is a celebration of nature and traditions of Galicia. Instead of a common grain distillate, its base is made from wine from the white grape variety Albariño, which gives the gin an unusual smoothness, fruitiness, and floral notes.

The distillate is infused with several botanicals (often 11–14), six of which come from Galicia, including herbs and plants typical of the local coastline: salicornia (sea herb), lemongrass, bay leaf, sage, eucalyptus, mint. These botanical ingredients ensure a unique, fresh, and somewhat marine or coastal character of the gin.

In the aroma, Nordés is refreshing, with notes of delicate flowers, white fruit, citrus, herbs, and a light hint of minerality or a salty touch reminiscent of the sea.

On the palate, the gin is fresh, smooth, and well-balanced, with fruity and herbal notes continuing, along with a subtle juniper, eucalyptus, bay leaf, or mint.

The result is elegant, fresh, and somewhat unconventional compared to classic gins - rather than a pronounced juniper or strong spicy “gin” style, a floral-herbal, citrus-mineral profile dominates.

Nordés is ideal for Gin & Tonic, best served with premium tonic, a piece of ice, and a refreshing herb (e.g., sage, mint, lemon peel), or it pairs well with light dishes, seafood, tapas, fresh salads, or fruit, thanks to its fresh, aromatic nature.
