Tamdhu is a Scottish sherry distillery of single malts from Speyside, but its story begins under the warm Spanish sun. In 1898, the founders of Tamdhu secured the first rare shipment of sherry barrels from the best Spanish wineries. After a century of hard work and innovation, the Tamdhu distillery closed its doors in 2010. In 2012, the determined distillery Ian Macleod Distillers took her under her wing and once again breathed life into the creation of excellent sherry whiskey according to the original recipes.

And even now, 100 years later, Tamdhu matures his whiskey exclusively in the highest quality barrels after Oloroso sherry. Although barrels are extremely rare and expensive, maturing methods do not change, as they think this is the best way to create the best single malt whiskey.
