The GlenAllachie Hungarian Oak Finish 7 Year Old + Gin Sul for free
The GlenAllachie Hungarian Oak Finish 7 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is from the Virgin Oak Series 3. The whisky was first matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks. It was then matured in specially selected virgin oak casks for approximately 18 months.
Master Distiller Billy Walker was once again looking for something innovative to make whisky. His search took him to northeast Hungary, where low temperatures, volcanic soil and high altitude create slow-growing oak trees with a dense grain structure. These oaks were selected for the aforementioned whisky maturation. The casks were first toasted and charred to a medium level. After maturation, the whisky is bottled at 48 % alcohol. No added colouring or chill filtering.
This is one of the first single malt whiskies in the world to be finished in Hungarian virgin oak. You can expect an aromatic, well-balanced and unique taste. All factors combine to create a very unique texture, depth and variety in the whisky.

Juniper distillate is produced in a small, hand-made, copper still. All alcoholic vapors in it must pass through a metal sieve in which there are herbs.
Cold, clear and soft water from the Lüneburg Heath, grapefruit-sized Portuguese lemons, juniper, fresh rosemary, and the oily resin of the cistus herb (rock rose) make GIN SUL extraordinary. The touch of the Portuguese Atlantic coast is bottled in typical white clay bottles, which protect the gin from light and heat.
