Description
The GlenAllachie Scottish Oak Finish 8 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is from the Virgin Oak Series 3. The whisky was first matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks. It was then matured in selected virgin Scottish oak casks for a period of 18 months.
The use of Scotch oak in the maturation of Scotch whisky is unusual as it is not common and is more difficult to process.
After maturation, the whisky is bottled at 48 % alcohol. No added colouring or chill filtering. The bottle comes in a gift box.
