The GlenAllachie Spanish Oak Finish 10 Year Old

10-Year-Old Single Malt Whisky The GlenAllachie Spanish Oak Finish comes from 3rd Series Virgin Oak. The whisky gains its unique spicy flavor from aging in casks made from virgin Spanish oak. The wood comes from the regions of Galicia and Asturias, specifically from the forests of the Cantabrian Mountains. The area has a very cool and humid climate.

The oak wood was air-dried for approximately 18 months. It was then toasted and charred to a medium level, allowing the oak to open up and let the whisky showcase its cask character. Secondary aging in virgin Spanish casks deepened the beautiful mahogany hue of the whisky.

After maturation, the whisky is bottled at 48% alcohol by volume. No added coloring and no chill filtration. The bottle comes in gift packaging.
