The GlenAllachie 9 Year Old Amontillado Sherry Cask Finish + Gin Sul for free
From GlenAllachie's Wood Collection comes an Amontillado sherry-flavoured single malt Scotch whisky.
Amontillado sherry starts life as a Fino, but goes through an additional period of maturation without the 'flor' layer, an oxidative maturation phase that produces a richer colour and more robust characteristics.
The Hogshead casks that previously held this sherry were used to age this whisky, bottled at 48 % alcohol without chill filtration or additional colouring. The whisky is aged for 9 years.
The bottles and gift boxes have been redesigned. The bottle capacity is 0,7 l.

Juniper distillate is produced in a small, hand-made, copper still. All alcoholic vapors in it must pass through a metal sieve in which there are herbs.
Cold, clear and soft water from the Lüneburg Heath, grapefruit-sized Portuguese lemons, juniper, fresh rosemary, and the oily resin of the cistus herb (rock rose) make GIN SUL extraordinary. The touch of the Portuguese Atlantic coast is bottled in typical white clay bottles, which protect the gin from light and heat.
