Gin Bareksten represents the essence of Norway in flavor and aroma. It is dark, wild, captivating, and dramatic. Bareksten draws inspiration for its gins from the dark Norwegian forests, where the sun rarely shines, and where mystical creatures dwell at the roots of ancient oaks.
The gin is distilled in small batches, resulting in a very strong product with a noble fruity expression. It has a traditional base line, but you will find hints of wild blueberries, cranberries, rhubarb, elderflower, mint, and over 20 other different ingredients.
Thanks to long hours of daylight, warm days, and cool nights, Norway may have the best conditions for growing herbs and forest fruits in the world. Around the distillery, 18 of the 26 botanical ingredients used in Bareksten's spirit grow. The base product, which is potatoes, comes from local sources, as maximum effort is made to ensure the use of Norwegian products.
The gin is made from purely natural herb extracts, the combination of which is strictly guarded.

A breeze from Portugal is coming! Transport yourself to the wild coast of Vincentina and enjoy a refreshing Gin Tonic under the blazing sun. Botanicals sourced from Portugal and distilled in the famous German distillery in Hamburg. This is Gin Sul.
The juniper distillate is created in a small, handcrafted, copper distillation apparatus. All alcoholic vapors must pass through a metal sieve containing herbs.
Cold, clear, and soft water from Lüneburg Heath, Portuguese lemons the size of grapefruits, juniper, fresh rosemary, and the oily resin from the herb cistus (rock rose) make GIN SUL exceptional. A hint of the Portuguese Atlantic coast is filled into typical white clay bottles, which protect the gin from light and heat.
