Description
The 20-year-old Malteco Reserva del Fundador is a luxury blend made from carefully selected rums of exceptional quality aged up to twenty years. Unlike younger versions, this rum is drier and has a stronger oak barrel presence. We can find notes of tobacco, cane, spices (vanilla), chocolate, and fruit (dried plums). It ages at an altitude of 2,300 meters in oak barrels. It is distilled from pure virgin juice of sugar cane and is especially appreciated by fans of the sweet Guatemalan style. It is a great old rum with a higher alcohol content.
