Kilchoman Rockside 11 Years Old

Kilchoman Rockside 11 Year Old is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky from the core range of Kilchoman distillery. It is made from barley grown on Rockside Farm, which is then malted, peated, distilled, matured, and bottled right at Kilchoman.

The whisky is lightly peated and matures in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, giving it a balanced profile between sweetness, fruitiness, and gentle smoke. Notes of tropical fruit, citrus sweetness, light peaty smoke, and mixed spices emerge.

In the aroma and taste, there are hints of orange, lemon zest, elderflower, honey sweetness, tropical fruit, barley sugars, toffee apple, salty caramel, and gentle peaty smoke. Rockside 11 is bottled without added coloring and without chill filtration, preserving the natural character and pure farm style of Kilchoman.
