Kilchoman 100 % Islay 15th Edition
The 15th edition of Kilchoman’s 100 % Islay range is made from barley grown directly on the island (harvests 2014 and 2015), then distilled, matured, and bottled entirely on site.
The whisky matured for a minimum of 9 years in 54 ex-bourbon barrels.
On the nose, it reveals notes of vanilla, tropical fruits, fresh hay, toasted oak, and a touch of maritime salinity.
On the palate, you’ll find milk chocolate, salted caramel, clean peaty smoke, candied citrus, lemon peel, ripe pear, and a hint of white pepper. The finish is long, with coastal peat smoke, sweet fruit tones, and a soft honeyed touch.
This edition showcases a pure and intense expression of Islay distillation -ideal for connoisseurs who appreciate the island’s terroir, peat character, and the full strength of 50 %.
