Kilchoman 100 % Islay 15th Edition

This 15th edition of the 100% Islay series from Kilchoman was created from barley grown directly on the Isle of Islay (from the 2014 and 2015 harvests) and subsequently distilled, matured, and bottled on site.

Whisky aged for at least 9 years in 54 bourbon casks.

The aroma reveals notes of vanilla, tropical fruit, fresh hay, toasted oak, and sea salt.

The palate features milk chocolate, salted caramel, pure peat smoke, candied citrus, lemon peel, ripe pear and a hint of white pepper. The finish is long, with maritime peat smoke, sweet fruity motifs, and a honeyed sparkle.

This edition represents a pure and intense profile of Islay distillation - ideal for connoisseurs who appreciate the taste of Islay terroir, smoke, and full strength of 50%.
