Description
Deanston Virgin Oak is made from young whiskey, which eventually matured in brand new oak barrels after Kentucky. It's always nice to have this one-of-a-kind malt Scotch whiskey on hand, because you can have a really good feeling from this delicious sip that you hold in your hand, as Deanston is certified by the Organic Food Association and the distillery is powered by water energy.
Aroma: Fresh citrus, honey barley and a slight hint of smoke.
Taste: Caramel confectionery pops up first, followed by a mixture of cream and oak tones.
Conclusion: Oak pepper at the end.
Overall impression: Excellent, the new oak in this whiskey is not really dominant, which is always a risk when using such barrels.

A new product has appeared on the Slovak market that is not afraid to go against the grain. Jon Rye Wanted is a brand new whiskey from St.Nicolaus Group a.s. that does not try to compete with Scottish or Irish legends with their history and myths. Instead of endless stories about pedigree and old barrels, it brings something bolder – a pure taste and a rebellious attitude.
