Description
Fifteen-year-old Dalmore whiskey was first marketed in 2007. It matured in Matuzalem, Apostles and Amoroso barrels, which first contained sherry. These provide a flavor of winter pepper, orange peel and chocolate, all the hallmarks of the Dalmore brand.
Aroma: After oranges in chocolate. Perfumed mixture. The smell of fruit cake and sherry.
Taste: Mild, charmingly served. Spicy orange, Blue Curaçao liqueur taste, chocolate. Winter spices, ginger stalk in syrup. Signs of anise and small white walnut.
Conclusion: Echoes of malting barley and smoky espresso.
