Dalmore 12 Year Old

Dalmore 12 is an interesting single malt whisky from the Highland region. The whisky first matures in American white oak casks that previously held bourbon, which gives it a subtle flavor of vanilla and honey, and later a portion of the whisky is finished in Oloroso sherry casks, adding notes of orange and cinnamon.

It has a mahogany gold color, with aromas of citrus, cocoa, and baking spices. On the palate, you can taste black pepper, dried fruit, orange, raisins, and vanilla. The finish is medium-long and bittersweet, with hints of coffee and black pepper.

Whisky was bottled at 40% alcohol content. It was also colored and cold filtered.
