Deanston 10 Year Old Bordeaux Cask

Deanston Bordeaux Cask is a 10-year-old innovative Scottish single malt whisky from the Highland. It matured in casks that previously held red wine from the world-renowned Bordeaux region of France. These casks imparted a fantastic subtly sweet flavor with notes of raisins, chocolate, and honey.

The aroma opens with fresh fruit notes (peach, apple pie), raspberries and waxy skins, complemented by a gentle hint of grains. The taste is creamy, full of red fruits (cherries, plums), jam and delicate dark chocolate, with a touch of spice and a hint of toasted oak.

The finish is spicy, with notes of strawberries and orange oil, while sweet and fruity elements remain present.

This whisky is best enjoyed neat, at room temperature. A few drops of water can help soften the woody notes and open up the fruitier layers.

Non-chill filtered. It is made in the traditional way using 100% natural local Scottish ingredients. We recommend serving it neat at room temperature. The bottle comes in a very nice gift packaging.
