Deanston 18 Year Old

Deanston 18 Year Old single malt whisky is the flagship expression of the acclaimed Deanston distillery. Matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks for 18 years, it is bottled without chill filtration and delivers remarkable depth with the distillery’s signature sweetness and waxy texture.

Full maturation in American oak ex-bourbon casks gives the whisky a distinctive character – from sweet barley syrup through vanilla to crisp apple and honey. On the nose, notes of meadow flowers in bloom, grass, tobacco and nutmeg emerge, revealing a classic Highland profile with a gentle waxy touch.

On the palate, a sweet-spicy combination of citrus, caramel, gingerbread, manuka honey and white pepper unfolds, complemented by lime pastry and orange sweetness. Together, these elements create a complex yet elegant structure. The finish is dry and spiced, with a warming ginger-and-honey tail that invites another sip.

This Scotch whisky has been awarded gold at international competitions and was named Whisky of the Year 2022 by The Whisky Exchange for its ability to showcase a full, pure style without special cask enhancements.

The bottles are filled at 46.3% ABV in a 0.7 l format and are presented in gift tubes.
