Deanston 18 Year Old

Deanston 18-Year-Old single malt whisky is the flagship edition of the top distillery Deanston. It matures exclusively in ex-bourbon casks for 18 years, bottled without chill filtration while retaining an impressive depth with typical sweetness and a waxy texture.

Full maturation in American oak ex-bourbon casks gives the whisky an unmistakable character – from sweet barley syrup to vanilla, crunchy apple, and honey. On the nose, notes of blooming meadow flowers, grass, tobacco, and nutmeg emerge, awakening the typical Highland profile with a subtly waxy touch.

On the palate, a sweet-spicy blend of citrus, caramel, gingerbread, manuka honey, and white pepper is complemented by lime tart and orange sweetness. All of this creates a complex yet still elegant structure. The finish is dry-spicy with a warming, ginger-honey tail that invites another sip.

This Scotch whisky has been awarded gold in international competitions. It received the title of Whisky of the Year 2022 at Whisky Exchange for its ability to present a full, clean style without special cask enhancements.

Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 46.3% with a volume of 0.7 l and are delivered in gift tubes.
