Glencadam Reserva Andalucía Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish is an award-winning Scottish single malt whisky from the traditional Glencadam distillery in the East Highlands. This edition pays tribute to the historical connection of the distillery with the iconic Spanish region of Andalusia, known for its sherry production.
The whisky is created by combining distillate maturing in American oak bourbon casks and then finishing in Oloroso sherry casks from Andalusia. The result is a pronounced “sherry-forward” profile, where the fruity character of Glencadam merges with sweet and spicy notes from the sherry casks.
The aroma features ripe fruits, delicate nougat, vanilla, and fresh fudge. The taste is smooth and creamy, with notes of raisins, orchard fruits, and caramelized apples. The finish is long and silky, with hints of honey, muscovado sugar, and delicate green tea.
