Glencadam Reserva PX Pedro Ximénez Sherry Cask Finish is a distinctive single malt whisky from the traditional Scottish distillery Glencadam in the East Highlands. This edition is crafted in small batches under the supervision of the Master Distiller, with a base of distillate maturing in American oak barrels previously used for bourbon.
It is then finished in carefully selected Pedro Ximénez sherry casks from Andalusia, known for their extremely sweet and rich character. The result is an intense, dessert-like whisky with a deep profile full of dried fruits, caramel, and chocolate.
The aroma features rich notes of Christmas pudding, dried figs, and dark chocolate, complemented by woody and spicy accents of cedar and cloves. The taste is full and sweet, with layers of maple syrup, caramel candies, dried plums, and cherries intertwining with hints of brandy butter and Black Forest chocolate dessert.
The finish is long and warming, with hints of caramel toffee, fruitcake, and candied ginger, rounded off with notes of cherry jam and espresso.
The whisky is unchillfiltered and free from added colors, preserving its natural character. Bottled at 46% alcohol, it offers an intense and full-bodied tasting experience.
