This exceptional Scottish single malt whisky Deanston Virgin Oak 2023 from the Deanston distillery comes in its first edition as Virgin Oak Cask Strength. Unfiltered, with no added coloring and an impressive strength of 58.5%.
Initially matured in barrels from quality American bourbon, which imparted characteristic citrus freshness and the waxy texture typical of Deanston. Subsequently, the whisky was aged for 12 months in new American oak barrels from the prestigious Kelvin Cooperage in Kentucky, adding depth and spiciness.
The result is an intense and robust flavor with notes of sweet spices, candied fruit, green apple, and citrus. All in perfect balance.
