Clément Rhum Vieux Agricole Oloroso Discontinued

Dark Rum Clément Rhum Vieux Agricole Oloroso first ages for several years in American white oak barrels, after which it undergoes an additional phase – a finish in selected Oloroso sherry casks, giving it a distinctly rich and complex profile.

Production takes place in Martinique according to strict appellation d’origine contrôlée (AOC) rules, using fresh sugarcane, typical for the rhum agricole style of the Clément brand.

The aroma initially presents intense notes of candied fruit, nuts (walnuts), caramel, vanilla, and oak spice. The taste is rich, full with a striking onset; flavors of caramelized notes, stone fruit jam, dark chocolate, coffee, a salty touch, and a subtle bitterness emerge at the finish.

This rum is best enjoyed neat, at room temperature or from a wide glass. Alternatively, with a gentle splash of water or a cube of ice, to reveal its full aroma and layers of flavors. It is excellent as a spirit for connoisseurs and tasting moments.
