Set Talisker Skye + Loch Lomond Peated Floral and Smoky
Single malt whisky Talisker Skye brings a well-balanced flavor that combines gentle sweetness, fresh citrus, subtle smoke, and spicy pepper. The whisky ages in American oak barrels after bourbon.
The taste and aroma differ from other Taliskers in that it is sweeter and less smoky than their other bottlings. The aroma is fresh and sweet, with notes of citrus, honey, and orchard fruits, complemented by sea salt and gentle peat. The taste is smooth and balanced, slightly sweet, dominated by notes of citrus, salt, black pepper, and fruit. A hint of peat can also be detected. The finish is medium-long and warming, spicy, fruity, and slightly salty.
It is bottled at an alcohol content of 45.8%. It is cold-filtered and color-adjusted.
The bottle is sold in a stylish gift box featuring a sea and coastline motif, evoking the whisky's origin from the Isle of Skye.
Loch Lomond Peated Floral and Smoky/Grainstorm is an excellent and high-quality Scottish single grain whisky made from heavily peated malted barley. It matures in a combination of first-fill and refill ex-bourbon oak casks, which impart a delicate fruity flavor with notes of vanilla and smoke.
The distillation and maturation process was overseen by Master Blender Michael Henry. The recipe, passed down through generations, dates back to the 19th century. The whisky comes in a very nice bottle and gift packaging. We recommend serving it with a cube of ice.
