Clés des Ducs VSOP
Clés des Ducs VSOP (40% ABV) brings a balanced and complex experience of traditional French armagnac. A blend of the finest eaux-de-vie, distilled from Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, Baco Blanc, and Colombard grapes, aged for a minimum of 4 years in French oak barrels, acquiring smoothness and deep aroma.
This VSOP is created through careful blending of various eau-de-vie from vineyards in the Panjas region. After double distillation, it goes into oak barrels, where it ages for at least 4 years. This process gives it a harmonious, rounded structure with a typical oak character without the need for artificial additives.
Clés des Ducs VSOP captivates at first glance with its golden color and a subtle hint of amber. The aroma is rich, with notes of dried fruit (plums, raisins, apple), complemented by sweet-spicy vanilla, cocoa, and almonds.
The palate reveals a complex array of flavors – dried fruit, caramel, candied orange peel, spices and delicate woody tannins, culminating in a long, warm, and elegant finish.
The brand Clés des Ducs (literally "Keys of the Dukes") represents the mastery of regional craftsmanship – armagnac from Southwest France made according to centuries-old traditions. The VSOP designation (Very Superior Old Pale) evokes a longer aging period and complexity that the responsible producer guarantees.
