Loch Lomond The Open Special Edition 2025 is an exclusive single malt whisky created in honor of the 153rd edition of the prestigious The Open golf tournament, held at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland.
This exceptional edition was crafted in collaboration with brand ambassador, famous golfer Colin Montgomerie, and each bottle bears his signature as a symbol of the alliance between golf and the art of whisky making.
The whisky matures in American oak casks and then ages in Chianti red wine casks, which gives it a rich and unique character. The aroma and flavor are dominated by notes of ripe red berries, sweet honey, peaches, and pears, while a subtle smoky finish adds depth and complexity. The result is a harmony of fruity freshness and the traditional distillation style of Loch Lomond.
Bottled at an alcohol content of 46 %, unfiltered and crafted with precision under the guidance of master blender Michael Henry, this whisky celebrates not only the tournament but also the tradition, the people, and the legendary golf courses that shape the history of The Open.
