12-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Inchmoan from the Loch Lomond distillery is produced in the Highland region. Aged in American ex-bourbon oak casks. Non-chill filtered and no added coloring. Distinctly spicy notes along with herbs, cinnamon, and fruit. This whisky is yet another example of Loch Lomond's ability to produce all kinds of whisky styles, from Single Malt to flavorful Blended fruit whiskies.
For centuries, the inhabitants of Scottish Lussu, on the western side of Loch Lomond, used the island Inchmoan as a source of peat fuel for lighting village fires and torches. The name “Inch-ston” (island of peat in Gaelic) comes from this.
Today, Inchmoan Island is known for its sandy beaches, but inland, there is a jungle, marshes, and dense forests, a perfect tranquil sanctuary for visiting deer.
