Talisker 10 Year Old Set + Torabhaig Allt Gleann The Legacy Series
Talisker 10 is the flagship of the distillery located on the rugged, wind-swept island of Skye, battered by sea waves. It is the oldest distillery on this island, founded in 1830. It is known for its distinctive style, where the character of the coastal sea and smoky peat come together.
This whisky has matured for at least 10 years in American bourbon casks, which has imparted subtly sweet notes that balance the bold island character.
On the nose, we can intensely feel sea salt, malt, wet wood, black pepper complemented by earthy notes of peat, lemon, and vanilla. The taste of the whisky is intense and spicy, full of notes of peat, honey, citrus peel, sea salt, and dried fruit. The finish is long and warming, with flavors of peat, sea salt, black pepper, and oak.
Bottled at a strength of 45.8% alcohol. It is colored and likely also cold filtered.
Allt Gleann The Legacy Series is the second addition to the Legacy series and the very second release of single malt whisky from the Torabhaig distillery! If you are a fan of strong peaty flavors with notes of smoke and nuts, this whisky is just for you.
This whisky is created by blending Small Batch whiskies distilled in 2017 and 2018, capturing the essence of the Isle of Skye. It has a fantastic enchanting maritime aroma full of woody and peaty notes.
Torabhaig Allt Gleann The Legacy Series is a true Scottish single malt that will lift you off your feet after tasting! For 100% enjoyment, we recommend serving it at room temperature without ice or water.
The whisky comes in a very nice gift packaging. It is made without added colors, flavorings, and chill filtration. Only a very limited number of bottles were produced!
