It's something every Talisker fan must have. The 18-year-old whiskey, which was probably very well received by everyone, won the title of the Best Whiskey in the World at the 2007 Whiskey Awards.
Aroma: Very clean and fresh. Mixed sweet fruit with a spicy character. The scent of peat and smoke grows with signs of perfume and heavy oak. Hints of calvados and a touch of acidity with ground ginger.
Taste: Strong, rich and heavy. Signs of spiciness, spicy oak, espresso coffee and wood smoke. The gentle tingling of the new pepper certainly adds a spicy character that is hidden somewhere in the distance. The spice comes to the surface with a clear intention.
Conclusion: Long with spiced oak.
