Talisker The Distillers Edition

Distillers Edition is a collection of master craftsmanship. Each cask in this series is individually selected and perfectly tailored to the character of each of the refined single malt whiskies. The two-part maturation process adds greater depth and complexity, which is the idea behind the LIMITED EDITION DISTILLERS EDITION: to preserve the perfection of single malt whiskies that have already been awarded for their exceptional flavors.

The selected flavor nuances are more strongly highlighted in a way that is not found in regular bottles, while fully preserving the original character of these fine single malt whiskies.

Since 1997, the Distillers Edition has been released annually in limited quantities, each of which is very true to its origin, yet has a rich depth. This outstanding Talisker was first matured in filled American and European oak casks. The second maturation finished in heavily seasoned American oak casks Amoroso.

A bit richer than the original bottling, Amoroso Seasoned Casks give Talisker a beautifully rounded and juicy fruit sweetness that perfectly complements the sharp, dry peaty smoke and well-known spiciness.

The Distillers Editions have already won awards at major international competitions. Their international success and wide recognition elevate these annual collections as representatives of true special editions of whisky. The Talisker house has also received several awards in the highest categories worldwide. A true success all around.

Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 45.8% with a volume of 0.7 l and are delivered in beautifully designed gift boxes.
