Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old Mini

Bunnahabhain 12 is an Islay single malt whisky from the Bunnahabhain distillery, founded in 1881 on the north coast of Islay Island, which is famous for producing its smooth and elegant whisky. Some bottlings from this distillery are either very lightly peated or completely unpeated. Bunnahabhain 12 is representative of the very lightly peated style (the producer states a phenol level of 3PPM).

The whisky was first launched in 1979 and is aged for 12 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, giving it a complex but balanced character. The bourbon casks bring notes of vanilla, orchard fruit, and a subtle sweetness, while the sherry casks add notes of dried fruit, nuts, and spice. Sea salt and a hint of wet oak complement the delicate coastal character of this whisky.

Bunnahabhain 12 is bottled at 46,3 % ABV, without chill filtration or coloring.
