Description
The Balvenie DoubleWood is a 12-year-old premium Scotch single malt whisky from the Speyside region, which matured in two types of casks. The first maturation took place in American oak barrels. The second maturation occurred in ex-sherry Oloroso oak casks. Thanks to the casks, it has an irresistible complex rich flavor full of fruity notes.
DoubleWood is an excellent example of what the Balvenie distillery can create, and that at just 12 years old. The bottle comes in a very nice gift box along with two glasses. We recommend serving it neat at room temperature.
