Oban 14 is the flagship of the Oban distillery, located in the picturesque harbor town on the west coast of Scotland. This distillery, founded in 1794, combines traditional production methods with the unique microclimate of its coastal environment, giving their whisky its distinctive style.
Whisky aged 14 years in carefully selected bourbon and sherry casks. The result is a complex flavor profile: the aroma features sea air, stone fruits, oak, citrus, and a hint of peat. On the palate, notes of stone fruits, sea salt, oak, dried peaches, and black pepper emerge, while the finish is medium-long, dry, with a subtly waxy and peaty character.
