Kilchoman 13 Year Old - after the significant release of the 16-year-old whisky in 2023, we have another age statement for you. This limited edition has matured for 13 years in a combination of ex-bourbon casks and calvados casks. The whisky exudes a wealth of juicy fresh fruit, intense sweetness, and waves of smoke from the coastal peat of the Islay island.
“Following the overwhelming response to our 16-year-old whisky, I am delighted to announce the release of another age category from Kilchoman - the 13-year-old whisky. A large portion of the casks are bourbon casks, which impart the unmistakable character of Kilchoman, while the addition of calvados casks, which may surprise a few, brings vibrant notes of green apple and fresh fruit to the blend.”
